Feedback from the patient survery
We are now offering appointments each week outside of the normal working hours.
We will always try our best to accomodate patients appointment preferences but if we have reached capacity or don't have anything suitable then we refer in to the GP Federation who have more capacity to see patients from all over the local area primarily evenings and weekends to help ensure patients are accessing the services they need. Call the surgery to book and we can book you into clinics at the Hanley Walk in Centre, Haywood Hospital, Bradwell Hospital or Longton Cottage.
Please contact the surgery for more information
When the practice is closed please call the surgery number (03007900160 ) and you will be directed to the out of hours service.
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call 111 to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
Apsley Surgery and Apsley House Branch site would normally be closed for all Bank Holidays but with the current COVID19 crisis we are open as normal.
Please ensure that you have enough medication to last over the bank holiday period and remember that it takes up to 48 working hours to process prescription orders.
If you need medical attention please ring the surgery number (03007900160) which will transfer you to the out of hours provider.
